Hi all,
I was wondering: Where did the Humbrol Authentic color line go? They had a very nice line of authentic colors, which I used a lot, specially their MC21 French Artillery Green, which was ideal to give U.S. armor that weathered look.
I can't find anywhere no more...Can you guys help me out on this one?
Maybe there's a substitute color??
Lemme know, cheers, John.

John
There's a nice compare chart over here:
http://www.fortunecity.com/meltingpot/portland/971/reference/humbrol.htm
I don't think there is a substitute for MC21

This won't probably help you but in one of the only two hobby shops in Saudi Arabia, they still have stock of it from like 15 years ago. I actually do have a tin of French Artillery Green. I use it as a base coat for us WWII uniforms.

the guy who owns my local model shop told me humbrol were in financial difficulty, and recently the quality and supply had dropped, and certain ranges and colours are difficult to get. he has since switched to revell, tamiya and games workshop paints.
might be why you cant get the colours you need
cheers
