I had the distinct pleasure of hanging out during the Tamiya Con 2004 event with Jim Starkweather, the muscle and brains behind Armorama. For those who have not met him personally, he is a true gentleman and lots of fun to be around. He took some fantastic photos at the show and I believe Armorama was the first site to post pictures!

Jim kinda shamed me by pointing out that I have been a member since Feb02 and only had 1 posting. I think he messed with the avatars and stuck that one of the white haired bearded fellow with my profile :-) I can't imagine having chosen that image myself One of these days I'll rank higher than a base visitor
