Are there any car or truck kits suitable to take on the appearance of ww2 British vehicles for a blitzed street diorama please.
If so could you suggest them to me and any tips that would be needed to convert said vehicles.
I am hoping to build a small diorama of a bombed street during the May blitz of Liverpool.
I have acquired an Accurate Armour mobile canteen for this as a starter.
Thank you in anticipation of an answer and help.
Cheers

Hi,

couple of ideas spring to mind. easiest is to get Tamiya's tilly and remove the rear body. The front is the same as an Austin 10.

Another option, if you can find it. a company called Fairy Kaikaiku made a Riley 4 door saloon. It's pretty basic, but that won'won't matter if it is bombed out.

Regards Jason

you might also go through the ICM catalog to see what could be applied

Hi,

I was thinking along the lines of having the rear end blown off the Austin.

If I were to add a rear end it would be from ICM's Moskvitch. Not an exact match but close enough for most viewers eye.

this model might be too new, but the company may have something you can use: http://www.georgeturnermodels.com/shop/ford-x6/ford-pop-van-tru-201/
