My Dragon 1/35 Firefly 1c (kit# 6568) DS tracks are toast. I have sent Dragon 2 emails asking for replacements but there has been no response from them. So if anyone has tracks for the Firefly either DS or link ones please give me a shout.

T-48 tracks
If alls else fails Bronco has this set (# 3538):
I have at least two left over sets of the DS-crap
but there is two issues with this:
1. I'm on the other side of the Atlantic ocean
2. The DS-crap might decide to disintegrate on you
Yours for the postage but if I were you I would go for that Bronco set. Postage across the Atlantic isn't free either ...

The reason for my DS-crap tracks becoming left overs is that I am replacing them with Bronco sets
Cheers !

I am with Robin and acquiring the Bronco sets. Time consuming, but worth the effort. Based on the contents of most of my kits, any DS replacements you get from Dragon will probably destroy themselves over time anyway.
Another option, if you want one piece, would be to see if anyone has left over Tasca Rubber band tracks. I believe at least one kit has T 48 tracks, although they have the extensions. Or if you are okay with a type other than T48, Tasca might still be a good donor or consider AFV Club one piece replacements.

Thanks. I have a Tasca Sherman in the stash and looks like the rubber tracks are a bit short when fitted on the Dragon model.

Have any of you actually built a set of Bronco tracks? They possibly some of the worst Sherman track out there. I would recommend Panda tacks as they are the correct width (unlike AFV Club) and require only 3 parts per link.

Georg

Yes I have Georg, several sets. Each to their own I guess, but I find that Bronco sets fit the drive sprockets on my Dragon kits nicely and that is the key element for me.
I have never used Panda Tracks, but the pictures on Panda's own website show very sloppy fit and they are doing themselves no favours by this. I am not wasting money on trying something that looks so bad on their site...
