This article dated Jul 16th 2020 by Bob Johnson, former Monogram official, is on the Atlantis Toy and Hobby website. I've been hoping he would tell us what happened with Aurora tooling, and address the legendary train wreck.

Still so very interested in what was lost and what was thrown away. The one crumb I got was the Guillotine kit which I would love to have as I had some of those dungeons kits as a kid. I guessing a lot of the Prehistoric Scenes were lost as I've seen repops of only a couple since then. Why is there no market for more kits like that these days considering the success of the Jurassic Park franchise?

THIS ARTICLE ONLY MAKES ME CRAVE MORE INFO!!!!!! AARRGGHH!!

I remember buying the kit on a Army base in Germany, love the armor kits! Would like to buy more of them.

I believe Polar Lights picket up the guillotine. I bought one on ebay a while back and built it.
