so...
Today one of the taillights of my M1A1HC went flying into outer space...
With no idea in wich direction to look and after several attempts searching it while feeling with my fingers on the floor of my hobbyroom anex garage, I took one of my strongest lights (with the power of wwII searchlights ) and went looking for it....
You wouldn't believe what kind of "things" I found on the that floor.... I think I discovered a whole new lifeform down there... :-) :-)
BUT I was able to retrieve it and now I'm off... trying to get that horrible bits-and-pieces-eating floor sprue free....

Another hoover method is to use the hose attachment and stretch a piece of fine mesh over the end using an elastic band to hold it in place (the wife's stockings [or girlfriend's if the wife won't let you] is ideal). Vacuum over the area where the part went and the mesh should catch it.

Better watch out and do that Girlfriend thing when the Wife is not around might ask where those stockings came from!

Been there done that, it's amazing what you will find on the floor! It's more aggrivating than anything else. The only thing worse when you drop and break, or the cat knocks it off, cat what cat?
