As the title says, I am looking for some 1/35 M14 rifles to outfit some early '60s Marines and Army troops.

Unfortunately, there are no AM sets of them, not even 3D printed on Shapeways or the likes.

There are 2 in the Dragon Vietnam Weapons set, 4 in the AFV Club M113A1 kit, and a few here and there in other sets.

If you have any left over, please let me know and we can work something out for them.

Gino,

I don't know if this helps or not but I converted some Garands to M14s by cutting off the barrel at an appropriate juncture and then adding the barrel from the Italeri FN/SLR rifles. I can't remember where the M1s came from but the Italeri set is plentiful and cheap. I had to add the gas regulator (assuming that's what it is) details under the barrel (I'm no M14 expert) and then with a craft knife added those 5x sort of grooves across the weapons, as it were.

In 1:35 they don't look too bad. Anyway, just a thought.

Sorry, 'should've added that I obviously added a magazine.

Thanks. That may be the way to go if I don't get any others.

Anybody have some? I know somebody out there has an AFV Club M113A1.

That is a modern, Special Ops version of the M14. I am looking for the original version used in the 1950s and 1960s.

I think I have it covered now. Thanks for looking.

Hey Heavyarty

Sime time ago I sent Yaroslav an email asking him if he would ever make M16A1s and M14s as part of Live Resin offerings.

It was on the cards - but still no sign of them.

I'll keep holding out in vain before I begin my USMC M48A3 build.
