hi,
anyone have any recommendations of where i can buy the stuff needed for resin casting in the UK?
ive so far only been able to find it in hobbycraft, but they only sell small quantities of clear stuff, and its expensive.
id rather not get it from abroad, as postage would be expensive given its weight.
cheers
joe

Also try Alec Tiranti Ltd, web site is here http://www.tiranti.co.uk/
They do various size packs, from 500g to 25kg. Sorry, I don't know the current prices.

costas,
i would imagine they would be happy to ship to other countries,
however postage costs would be pretty high due to the weight, and also some of the substances can only be transported by road due to their flammable nature.
cheers

dont worry about it costas,
i know how frustrating it can be when you cant get the stuff you need,
there must be somewhere in greece that sells it, why not try asking other greek modellers, or maybe people at shows etc.
i found out a lot about resin and white metal suppliers from a guy at a craft show who made and sold figurines of dragons and wild animals, who was nothing to do with military modelling. maybe if you get some arts and craft magazines over in greece you might find something?
cheers
