So, a few weeks back I ordered some kits to have while in lock down. Well, I didnt read the scales well enough, I guess.. This one is 1/72 - a little small for these getting old eyes. Anyone else do this scale regularly? Also, Master Box, never done one of them either. Not too impressed - mislabeled diagrams, directions not very easy to read and the pieces are not numbered - you have to match pieces up to the diagram legend by shape and location. Guessing that's the way they do It though..

I have a couple of their Merceds 170V kits in 1/35 so I could check what they are like.

Her a couple latest robin - I went a little heavier on the future as per Decals Silvering thread..... Tks. Wasn't sure how to handle the flag on the front L side. Any location would have had something under it to interfere. Probably should have tried to paint it on. Waiting now to do a little detailing - not sure when to add the Flory....

Fill out the right hand white field of that flag before you continue. The red field and the left hand white field look fine. Narrow strips of masking tape should work on top of the Future without sticking too hard and risking pulling off the decal below.

hey Robin - so I think the decal turned out better... Not the best photo though! AND I went too crazy w/ the Flory - its brown now . Oh well not terrible. Now on to a lego Aston Martin Bond car until some ships arrive in the mail...

That brownish tint looks a lot better than the toy-like green so I would call it an improvement.
