Tamiya Con in Laguna Beach is this weekend. Southern California for you non-CA people.

Who is going? I am, and I need to make plans for the Saturday night overnite stay. If anyone is looking to split the cost of a room please let me know!

I am not going.....but one of the local guys is. Pat Johnson is his name, and is actually one of the winners that was invited. He won the Tamiya Con 2003 qualifier that was held in Halifax, NS last year.

First time he has been more than 500miles from home...lol...make him feel welcome there!!!! I do believe that one of the kits he will have with him will be the M20 Greyhound....really nice build!!!!!!

I will be going this weekend, luckily I live close by. Hope to see you all this weekend.

I am actually home sick with a flu bug but since my daughter had this a few days ago and it was the 24hr varitey I am hoping to be over it today. So if I am there I will be one of the few guys walking around with a camera on a monopod and wearing an Armorama shirt.

I think Jim Lewis (Guntruck) is going too.

Unfortunately Jim - I'm passing on Tamiya Con this year. I'm really still fried from my trip last week to NYC. I'll be around the house trying to catch-up on some of the unpacking we still have to do...
