Bangis talaga nang mga Canon. Canon-ista ka pala eh! Hehe! I was kinda half-guessing that this was shot using a canon, well what do you know! Hehe! Great pics!

I'm not an AFV expert, but I love those front fenders (?), the weathering treatment they got. Pretty. Plus those barb wires towards the rear, or are they barb-wires talaga? Ano yan aftermarket parts?

Question: Ano yung mukhang scarlet/purple na glass? Just wondering what real purpose it has on the tank, o window lang yan na may tint? Hmmm...

Galing pa ren cardinal! Oh, and I think those tracks, just look oozing with "detail".

Thanks again Jomz. The barbed wire or concertina wire was made from plastic window screen. The fenders are Eduard PE part. The magenta colored thing are shiny multi-colored party stuff you could find in crafts store which come in round, star & various other shapes. I cut them to shape & attach them to the tanks vision blocks to simulate the glass on the real thing which has a coating that protects the crew form getting blinded by lasers. Yeah, it's something like a tint. The tank tracks are from AFV which I think is a very good AM tracks for the M1, good detail too.

Superb. The finishis very impressive. Good job!

What is the base kit? DML?

Some observations:

- Armored cabling for the APU is absent.
- The two tabs flanking the main gun needs to have holes drilled out.

All in all, a really good kit.

If you look closely at the back of the bustle rack APU & beside the antenna(3rd picture) there is a conduit which I scratchbuilt 'coz the kit, which is Tamiya by the way, has been modified. The original APU is located at the right rear of the tank but I have to relocate it in the bustle rack to represent one from Task Force 1-64 of the 3ID during OIF. Thanks for the comment.

Impressive! I especially like the way you did the tracks. The rubber pads are very convincing.

You might want to blacken the center grill on the back plate. That's where the turbine's exhaust comes out. It begins to look like a barbecue grill after a few minutes of running the engine. The two grills on the left and right can be left as is because that's where the air from the radiator exits.

Excellent work!

Jeepney : Thanks for pointing that out. I still have to do some more weathering to this build. Like I said, it's not quite finished yet.

SR : This is a Tamiya 1/35 M1A1 #35156 kit. Here's rule #5:

mondo : Thanks for the kind words. Hwag ka nang mahiya i-post mo lang ang mga pix mo. Kanya-kanyang diskarte lang naman yan.

Bravo, your Emminence!

The concertina wire and the ammo belts on the MGs are a nice touch. Ive done a similar thing with fine mesh for barbed wire on my 72nd M-2A2. Ill post pics here as soon as I take them.

Great work on the weathering, my friend.

Tamiya?! While at first I did presume it was the Japanese kit but I noticed the anti-skid surface - so I thought it was the Chinese model. It seems that you have successfully replicated it. Very impressive!

Regarding the the conduit; I was pertaining the armored cabling connecting from the smoke-grenade's own cabling (it looks similar) to the housing attached to the EAPU; it runs alongside the blast panel.

Sorry for not being concise.

Addendum - This image from tanxheaven.com will should be helpful.

Oh yeah, that one I decided not to do since I already missed that detail & I was on the weathering process when I noticed. Thanks for pointing that out BT6. Yes the non-skid surface was replicated as the kit didn't come with one.

Buck : Thanks for the comment. I'll certainly be looking forward to seeing you're build. I know you're an ace with the Braille scale.

Pare, puede pa i-habol yan!

Just a couple of thin strips to make the right shape, then stick it in. Check out the pic I added on my previous post, or this URL for the hi-res version.

Kaya mo yan, tsong - If you can pull off the anti-skid surface, adding a strip o' plastic wont be so tough.

BT6 : Maybe next week when I'm not so busy I'll finish off with the missing details & finish the base too.

Blitz : Thanks. I'll still do some more weathering on this build since I haven't finished the base yet.
