I recently picked one of these up to compliment my Badger AB and I went w it since it was at my LHS (buy local is my motto) and reviews seemed favorable based on my current skill level. Came w 3 needles and tips, the needles have bands etched in them, I think its 1,3 and 5 bands to mark the differences to go along w the 3 tips. Unfortuantely the directions I have don't point out which one is what. My main use is going to be detail painting with the Vega for 1/48 aircraft and 1/35th so I'm looking for the tightest line/smallest tip for camo patterns. Anyone familiar with them and what hints might you pass along? I'm pretty sure just eyeballing the 1 band is the smallest/finest (if thats the correct term). Any confirmation on that would be appreciated.

The needles are fine, medium, heavy with 1, 3 and 5 bands in that order.
The nozzle for the nr 1 needle has the smallest opening and nr 5 (heavy) has the largest opening.

Thanks, I was searching for a good stretch on the internet and never tripped across that info. With my luck it was probably the next link that I didn't click on. Appreciate it sir.

I used this link:
https://dixieart.com/Thayer_Chandler_Vega_Omni_Airbrushes.html and found pdf-files with user handbook and parts diagrams
This link also mentions Badger which caused me to search some more about why Badger was mentioned which lead me here: https://airbrushinformation.net/airbrushes-2/thayer-and-chandler-airbrushes/
Badger have bought Thayer & Chandler.
