Hi,
I was wondering if someone could give me the basics on PE parts as i have purchased my first PE detail set for my Tiger I Ausf E. I was wondering thinks like what glue do you use, anthing i need to do before painting ect...

superglue is the best to use for PE. You might want to *carefully* wash the fret is some soapy water first just to make sure there isn't any residual etching chemicals left on it that might prevent paint from sticking. Lastly make sure to have lots of patience!

I've had tiny PE pieces coming unglued a few days after I thought the glue was dry. It might be because the tube of superglue I used was already old or stale. I might have gotten too much oil on the part too after wrestling it into place. A loop of masking tape attached to a chopstick or brush works wonders in handling PE.

Future can be used to stick PE parts to plastic. I've read it from an article a long time ago.
