Finally got a Rye Field Jagdpanther G2. Would an early G2 have zimmerit and would they have shurzen or would that have been stopped to get them out into the battle field?

Zim was applied to the G1's up until September 1944. I am not aware of any references to G2's having Zim, but there may be. Any vehicle built after Sept. 1944 would not have Zim, so that could be your reference.
