Good to read a big makeover on the old 60 plus year old M-109, that new round can go over 40 miles.
Plus auto loader coming in also should go another 60 years.

It is getting a bit long in the tooth. But you really can't improve on what's been working so well for such a long time. What are they doing? New gun besides the autoloader? Will an autoloarder fit in the turret? I thought I read somewhere that they couldn't fit one in the current version.
