Question for the folks in the know.I am just about to the end of the road with Peoples republic of China for many reasons and was interested in what model makers have their entire production facilities outside of the PRC.I`d like to give these mfgs a chance at my hobby budget.Thanks

Some are— There’s CMK, Special Hobby, Roden, IBG, Zvezda (Eastern Europe) Revell Germany (but some of their stuff is popped in PRC) AFV Club (Taiwan), Academy (Korea), Tamiya and Hasegawa (Japan), Round 2 (some from the USA, but not much), Mach 2 (ugh) (France). Many others such as Airfix, Revell, Monogram, are made in PRC now, and boxed elsewhere. Look at the small print on the side of the box to see where it’s made. In this day and age of the “global economy” though, many kits are made in PRC—the economy, labor, materials, and the environmental laws make it easier to produce there in a governmental regulated economy.

Yep, I did forget them, sorry about that. And Italeri (Italy) although a lot of their stuff is popped in China too.
