Hi,
always fancied a 5 commando jeep ever since I first read about them/him in War Machines since I was a kid. Might get round to it one day. Fascinating story though.

I actually met him in S Africa back in the '80s. He was having a dram or two at the Hilton Hotel outside Pietermaritzburg in Natal. A real gentleman.
Much of his Africa time was spent in Katanga.
He made the 100 year mark too!
