ok, I just bought a couple of drill bits for my pin vice and was a little shocked, maybe not, anyway they where $1.50 a piece.
So I would like to know where can I get drill bits outside of the hobby world? I thought that a #80 drill bit cost $1.50 was a little high.
So if any of you might know where I can get these bits that would be great. I know that Michael's and hobby lobby don't have them so that's why I'm asking you guys.
Thank you

I searched for 0.3mm drill bits on Ebay and got several good looking cheap sets to try out, waiting for them to arrive. Carbide circuit board bit sets of various sizes and so should deal with plastic easily enough. Once they arrive I'll give them a thorough test run

Remember that carbide bits are brittle. They're great if you using a drill press or mill and your work is clamped and can't move, but in a pin vise and if there is any type of sideways pressure on the bit and it will break.

I got drill bits off Revell.
But if anyone got good alternatives to take a look for, that would be appreciated as well.
