hi guys have just finished the m1046 humvee tow missle carrier and have uploaded some pics in my gallery i,ts my first attempt at weathering and dry brushing learnt on this site would greatly welcome any comments on the humvee

Very nice built,paint ,detailing and weathering on Humwee.I liked it so much but why you dont pay the same attention to the figures. You can paint figures better looking a few reference photos.

I agree, the interior looks great, but you forgot to paint all the lights and markers.

I agree. The model is done very well and your weathering attempts went very well. I would like to see the same techniques on your other dio with the Challenger and the Warrior. That dio was very well done but was missing the weathering. Keep up the good work.

hi guys many thanks for your replys i,ve only just returned to modeling after 20 years the challenger and warrior were my first two models as an adult the humvee was my first attempt at weathering etc ,in the dio photo,s the model is finished with all the lights painted just a couple of the pics were during construction, many thanks for your time and encourageing comments

hi shonen red i used a wash of humbrol paints 29 dark earth,56 dark grey,and 83ochre matt mixed with white spirit and then i dry brushed several coats of 83ochre matt over the top i was pleased with the results in places and am slowly learning the technicks i need to progress my modeling further,
