I'm trying to make realistic pine trees. Not real happy with the commercial options. They look like green bottle brushes.
I saw a diorama where the builder used asparagus ferns as pine tree branches and it looked awesome !
Anybody know of a source for these ferns ?
Thanks in advance !

Check with your local florist...it is often used in floral arrangements or
for an endless supply...you can grow it yourself quite easily.

I have used asparagus ferns for years. I always get it at a florist shop and use a wooden dowel with a point on it and drill holes for the branches. After you glue in the branches, you can use mr surfacer to create the bark between them. Hope this helps.

Thanks Dale for the response !
Do you treat the ferns to keep them from drying out & turning brown?
It's a concern of mine using natural products.
Have a good weekend !
