I'm planning on buying a tripod to take pictures and record some video footage with my smartphone. Because the current stand I have for my smartphone doesn't stick to well to the work surface I got for my airbrushing. My first choice was to buy a tripod on aliexpress. Using a tripod indoor is not as demanding as outdoors, as you do not have to deal with wind or rough base -plus a mobile is much lighter than a camera.

Therefore, in my opinion this one should be fine for modelling. If you are willing to spend more, a ball-mount is easier to adjust, but not essential.

Can I get from your reply that the tripod I was planning to buy is right for the job?
As I saw in one of the pictures, it has a smartphone holder as well. So can use it with my smartphone to.
