Hello all, I would like to know if the French Air Force used their Spitfires Mk.XVI in the Indochina war. Thank you.

Hello Pablo,
I did a quick internet search and found an article on Wikipedia on the French Indochina air forces that mentioned F-VIII and F-VIX version of the Spitfire in two fighter groups in the 1946 time frame. I didn't find an entry for the F-XVI Spitfire. I'm no expert though but your question got me curious. Hope this helps.

Thank you John. I've also searched internet and asked in other forums and the conclusion is that the Spitfires Mk.XVI weren't in Indochina.
