#1. is there a definitive resource identifying paint brush types?

I just found "spotter" & "grainer" brushes and even only about $7.oo each, they are both helpful.

#2. is there an accepted way toward dulling Vallejo Model Air metallic?

without losing All of their character (small detail accents brush painted on the model) - just to tone them down a bit.

#3. is there a formula to select dry brush accent colors?

do I just use light blue over a dark blue base? or is there a real theory to this.
