Amusing reading for those so inclined ....
especially the last part about the goals/ideas for the future ...

http://www.moxingfans.com/new/news/2019/0809/6153_3.html

"In the next stage the company will strengthen the creative research and development of products and the building of high-quality team in the field of military culture, actively develop the military cultural products, actively cooperate with relevant institutions, vigorously popularize and promote the Chinese revolutionary culture, and undertake the important task of Chinese military culture going to the world"

I assume this means that there will be more Chinese military subjects in the Bronco catalog, or maybe it means something else ...

Bad enough dealing with mission statements at work - now they are creeping into my escapist hobby? Oh dear...

Hey, everybody's getting woke and celebrating diversity these days by injecting politics into escapist entertainment. Why can't the Chinese model makers get in on that sweet action?

It's what all genuine hipsters crave!

Not too nationalist.

They just want to share Chinese military culture with the world.

That does sound rather ominous.

And they put a lot of their profits towards China's new aircraft carrier?

That's like Zvezda buying Putin an armored division or Airfix funding the HMS Ark Royal

Let's all hope it's just a miss translation of intent. That it's about sharing of-- of-- our love of military history through quality models.

May be better if Airfix built a new Ark Royal using Academy parts. Might not leak then.

True, but they can get awoken, or get woken up, or they can wake themselves up. If instead they "get woke" it's a damning indictment of the state of our education system!
