So I inherited a 1955 F-100 from my father a few weeks ago. It is relatively untouched except the body has been primers with, what I am assuming, testors enamel primer.
He worked exclusively in Testers back in the day.
Here is my question: Is there an easy way of removing this primer without using a bag full of oven cleaner? I would like to work on the panel lines and such.
Can I work directly of this primer? Can I sand it down and repimer directly over the old primer? I work with almost exclusively acrylics and don't know much of these enamels.
Thanks for the info!
