Hey Modelers,

We had a helpful tip about a half price in-store sale on plastic models from one of us. But, the date was wrong for our area. So, apparently, the sales dates are not uniform nationwide. Naturally, in my area, it was the week before, so being there when the doors opened at 10AM on Monday just made me look stupid.
I really appreciated the tip. It was my fault for not reading the ad in the Sunday paper.

SealHead -
Which one?
I raided the Hobby Lobby in Huntsville, AL the weekend of the 20th, and bought an old Italeri kit to stock my "parts box" with...

Cheers

Hmm I'll have to ask my boss about that. Hopefully in the future I can let you know when other locations have sales on their models as well as mine. Sorry for the mix up.

Sealhead, you can also check their website for the weekly ads and coupons. I signed up for the weekly email list of the ad and coupon, gets delivered to my inbox every Sunday morning.

You guys are sooooo lucky. As far as I know we only have one similar chain over here, they have a pathetic amount of armour and when they have a sale they stick a 10% sticker on a few really old kits that nobody wants, and this only once a year!

I live about 40 mi N. of the St. Peters, MO store, (it is closest to me, Kirkwood is just too far) and get the ad & coupon in email form every Sunday. You can also check their website for the ads, but they say items may vary from store to store. Not sure about the coupons, maybe give the one closest to you a call and ask them.

In today's newspaper, there's a 50% off coupon at Michaels for Friday, April 9th, in addition to their usual 40% off coupon all week. This is in the Kansas City paper. Don't know what other areas are doing.
