Started it as a side project in December after I found the little varkie (piggy) in an old box of Xmas decorations, it represents a member of the Elite Spanspek, The Sty's Bren Mounted Pigs.

For those fortunate enough not to have to study afrikaans as a 2nd language at school (probably all of you) SPAN = TEAM, and SPEK = BACON, while SPANSPEK = A DELICOUS MELON, see that is why afrikaans is such a marvellous language. (sorry 'bout the sarcasm, I just really hate the language).

Nee, as 'n skool kind wie moet dit vir tweede taal doen, ek kan dit nie hanteer nie, hoekom moet ek engels, kan nie al die afrikaaners engels leer.

dit sal beter wees om duits of so iets to leer ken as om afrikaans te weet, die taal vrek/sterf op die omblik en kan net gebruik word in hierdie kak nasie.

aan die laatste zin kon ik niet goed uit, wilt u zeggen dat het afrikaans niet meer gebruikt wordt ?

in vlaanderen krijgen wij ook duits.
