I am heading to Vancouver soon & have some time to kill so was wondering if there are any good hobby shops worth visiting.

Yep there are a couple of really good ones. Magic Box Hobbies is owned by a wonderful couple. Large discount table, 10% discount on your next purchase cards, floor to ceiling models in all scales and genres. The second store is Imperial Hobbies in Richmond. A big selection of models and collectibles, comics and RPG. On weekends be prepared for large crowds of RPG nerds!

There is also Cameo hobbies in Maple Ridge who stock a large selection of used kits. Good luck!

Also if you like allied tanks, there's a Sherman and a Ram tank outside the BCR drill hall, downtown on Beatty Street

Cameo is a pain to get to on transit but I am planning a trip soon if you want to tag along. Lots of ooo Dragon kits etc
