Howdy folks! I'm not new to modeling, just to the KitMaker forums. I've been modeling on and off since I was in my early teens and am now in my thirties. I first started with cars and now do mostly armor and occasionally aircraft.

At first I painted my models with brushes but now got myself an air compressor and two quality airbrushes from Badger and Iwata. I'm still learning techniques with my airbrushes but I got the general idea.

Right now I'm working on a M4A3E8 Sherman from Tamiya and will post some pics once I'm done in the appropriate forum.

Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself. Happy modeling!

I live in upstate NY. The closest thing to a modeler's guild we have is a local comic book store filled with Warhammer and Magic the Gathering nerds.

We are getting a HobbyLobby just up the street from me soon. Will check it out once its open.

Welcome! How far "upstate"? When I lived in lower Manhattan I considered anything above 14th Street to be upstate.
