As my cherished videos have been recorded over I ordered the dvd set, is there much extra footage which wasnt shown on T.V. :-)

iam not sure if they added any more footage to the dvds of band of bothers.
in 2 weeks band of brothers will be on the history channel.
iam going to video tape it

There's some real good extra stuff, including interviews with some of the surviving vets of Easy Company, maps that follow the action, and the boot camp that the actors had to go through. I watched the whole thing with my family (again) on New Year's Day.

Yes there are, especially some scenes you can't let kids see or hear (if you know what I mean). In the DVD, you will hear them swearing a lot.

Then one of the troops took fraternizing with the frauleins way too far, he literally got caught with his pants down (or should I say off) #:-)
