Does anyone have a good source on British Airborne jeeps used during WW2? I'm looking for a source that has some information of the setup regarding their communication jeeps. I've been given the name of a book "British Airborne Jeeps: Modifications and Markings 1942-45", but so far I haven't found a copy available. If anyone knows of a website or someone I can contact who could provide some information regarding this subject I would really appreciate the help. Thanks!

Thanks Joe, that site is most helpful. It gives me some good direction as to what details need to be changed. I've seen some jeeps that are setup for the rein-actors that have the spare tire in the front, but from some of the documents I've read it said that this caused over heating of the engines. I wonder if anyone has any further information regarding this detail?

As to whether or not the front mounted spare caused overheating, there
is definite wartime photos of this set up on the jeeps.
