Greetings AFV junkies!

Hope this message finds everyone well and working away on those last minute touch ups on their entries for the AMPS 2019 International Show. As there are just over 30 days left before show time, we have a few announcements and updates to bring to the attention of attenders and those sitting on the fence as to whether to attend:

Update: AMPS Category and Best Of's sponsorships: All category and Best Of sponsorships have been sold as of this Friday night (3/29). A big thank you goes out to all chapters, individuals and businesses who contributed their financial support and helped sponsor all categories with over a month before the show. These volunteer sponsors are just one of many significant parts of what it takes to make a show great. AMPS could not have attained this level of achievement without the perseverance and time of our AMPS marketing guru; Glen Martin. Thanks Glen.

Update: AMPS Show and Seminar Schedule: The show and seminar schedule is now posted to the AMPS homepage (amps-armor.org). Visit the AMPS homepage and check it out. Thanks to all who committed to step up to share their research, modeling techniques and tips at the show.

Show Setup/Take down: In order to put on a successful show of this size and quality, it takes many people both behind the scenes and in plain view. While the jobs of some of the 'behind the scenes' folks are slowly beginning to wind down, the need for the 'front line' folks will soon be upon us and we can sure use the help. Visit the AMPS homepage (amps-armor.org) and go to the sign up page where you will find a list of jobs that need someone to do.

Seminar speakers and topics: While we have the seminar schedule posted, we would really like one more person who would be willing to present a seminar at the 2019 AMPS show. If you are willing to volunteer, contact Neil Stokes at [email protected]. We could really use one more volunteer.

AMPS Raffle: We are still requesting items for the AMPS raffle to make this the best yet. If you have any donations for the AMPS raffle, feel free to send them to Raffle King, Frank Ciccarella.

Don't forget; you still have time to pre-register for the show. Pre-registration closes on April 30th.

As the show draws closer and we are all finishing up our entries, take some time to review the AMPS judging criteria that can be found on the AMPS homepage (amps-armor.org) for each of the entry categories you are planning to enter (AFVs, diorama/vignettes, figures, ordinance, etc.) and give your entries a critical once over. You might be surprised what you may have overlooked and now have time to correct it before show time. The AMPS rules for judging entries can be found by selecting "The Society" from the homepage, then select "Judging Principles."
