One of the many special events and activities AMPS show attenders look forward to are the various seminars put on by AMPS members and individuals who have supported various AMPS shows in the past. In preparing schedules for each convention, AMPS seminar coordinators attempt to offer a variety of topics to include: modeling subjects, unit histories, vehicle development and deployment at each show. While the AMPS 2019 Show committee has presenters lined up to put on various demos for this year's show, we are looking for a few more to fill out the various seminar topics.
This year we are looking for individuals who would like to present on unit histories, particular battles, campaigns, or history and development of a particular vehicle, all of which will be invaluable to modelers and history buffs alike. If you've got a topic like this you would like to present, contact Seminar coordinator Neil Stokes at [email protected] and let him know what you would like to present. Neil can answer your questions, provide helpful information and help you get squared away if you would like to volunteer as a seminar presenter. If you've got something you would like to present that doesn't necessarily fall into any of the above categories, contact Neil anyway and discuss your topic.
While visiting, check out the new items covered by the AMPS Review Crew and the AMPS store. And if you are planning on attending, consider signing up for a judging shift. Two shifts gets you an AMPS 2019 Show crew T-shirt.
And remember, don't forget to vote before polls close on March 15th. It only takes a few moments. Visit the AMPS homepage at amps-armor.org for all details.
Till the next AMPS 2019 Show announcement...model on!
