Happy New Year to everyone as well.
So like the title says I have questions on how to strip your model of paint so that you can repainted it.
I have a couple of 1/72 scale armored vehicles that I would like to you strip down and paint them without having the photo etch come off as well.

1.So my question to you is what is the best way to strip the paint off without ruining your model?

2.Also, what is the best stuff to use for this purpose?

What paint did you paint them with?

Lifecolor acrylics

I've used straight out of the bottle Windex multiple times with no issues at all. Pour enough in a container to completely submerge the model.

I find the key is to use a soft bristle brush to remove any paint clinging to corners and grooves.

For a 1/35 model I usually leave it in the Windex for about a 24-36 hour time period checking randomly.

I have had very minor PE come off during the soak. I strain the Windex residue when finished to make sure no PE is going out with the bath water.

is that supposed to be 24-36 hours?

Correct...edited accordingly.

Never used Windex, but I have used Easy-off oven cleaner with some success.
