Does anyone shoot with a Co2 tank? I enjoy my set-up immensely. Although you have to refill your tank now and again, I find the benefits well worth it. My compressor will sit on the sidelines.

1. Absolutely no worries about pulsing.
2. Silent, absolutely no noise.
2. Always dry, no need for a moisture trap.

My refills are generally about 20.00 USD per pop. My tank usually last me over a year because I am not a prolific model builder. I would guess a full tank could get me through 10 or 12 1/48 builds with out a problem.

This is my set-up.

Same here, only I use a single stage regulator. I just pick the bottle up on occasion to see how much is on it.

Regulators are $40-50. Tanks can be bought then exchanged or leased.

A general welders gauge. Make sure you can adjust the PSI by small increments. My Olson was purchased at Harbor Freight with a 20% off coupon. I paid 60.00 out the door. I would like a gauge that displays the amount of air left in the tank. I think after the holidays i may swap my gauge out.

First off I am guage ignorant ,I looked at the HF Olson and it had 2 guages one looks like the flow and the other up to 4K pressue ,so the pressure guage does not tell you the amount left in the tank ?
