Does anybody know if AMG's various releases of the Dewoitine D.501/510 recently are based on the same molds as the Dora Wings D.510 or not? I know a lot of these Ukrainian firms are related, but Dora Wings did all of their P-63s themselves, so I'm kinda confused.
To clarify, Dora's only version so far has been a D.510 with Japanese markings, while AMG's just put out a D.501C1 with four French marking options, a D.500C1 with four French options, a D.510C1 with four French options, and a D.510L with four Lithuanian marking options, including spatted and unspotted wheels, and skis.
I'm personally mainly interested in recreating the aircraft I built waaaay back in the early 80s using the Heller kit in 1/72nd, which I seem to recall could be built as a D.501 or a D.510 (the latter with the very striking skeleton w scythe marking on the fuselage)
Anybody know?
