Ok guys, I'm traveling to the San Diegoarea soon for work, and having never been ther I need to know what hobby shops are in the area. I've been out of the states for 2years now and woulkd love to get my hands on good old all american plastic and some desperatly need supplies!!! Lets face it whille gunze paints are good they sure as hell don't beat MM. So please let me know of a good shop STUG

There is a great one off of Balboa road on Convoy street. It is called Discount Hobby Warehouse, ph#(858) 560-9633. They have a great selection. I found them a couple of weeks ago when I was down there for the weekend.

Yeah, there is a good one in 4344 Convoy St. they have a good stock of MM paints. they have Tamiya and Italery, and an OK price. its called "Hobby People", I don't know if it's the same one that heavyarty is talking about.
