Congrats to the winners! There were a lot of entries and all were stunning. The Avro Vulcan was HUGE! Was that really 1/72 or 1/48?

After 6 na ako dumating. Just came from Laguna for a little R&R. Finally met Lattex. May mga pics akong nakuha and will upload them later.

Aga umalis si SR di ko na inabutan

Uy, teka, may ikakasal yata. Congrats, Crismag! We missed you yesterday.

Shonen,
Very very sorry di ko na-demo how to cut open panel lines. I judged the entries and when I stepped out you were gone.

Jeep,
Nice to see you again, pare! How was your R&R?

Lattex,
Sayang di umabot yung Titanic mo. Couldve been a sure win.

Lonewolf,
Welcome to IPMS-P-BAC!!! Glad to have you with us. Dumadami na Armorama members sa IPMS-P-BAC. Parang chapter na rin tayo. Hehehe! Tanker & Fritz were also there. See you guys this April.

Btw, sali kayo sa Bert Anido Cup this May, ha? If you need PAF markings just tell Jefe what you need.

Buck, sensya na, well meet again next time naman eh. Probably this April I'll do come again. As for the competition, set aside muna ako. I'm not worthy after seeing all those models . What are the rules ba for the Bert Anido Cup?

Shonen,

Ill bring my stuff this April (1st Sunday may meet) just in case you can make it.

For the Bert Anido Cup, here are the rules:

1. All entries must be actual aircraft used by the PAF/PAAC. Dont worry about the modifications and markings. Your co-members have that covered and will be more than willing to assist you. Just tell us what you intend to build and we'll do what we can to provide you with pics, data and markings.

2. No bases allowed. The only figures allowed are pilot/co-pilot/crew figures who must all be seated.

3. Open (modified or out-of-the-box) and All scales.

The contest is meant to commemorate our founding father Bert Anido (who loved the PAF) and to promote interest in the PAF. At least sa models maraming planes ang PAF. hehehe!

Dont put yourself down, my friend. Ive seen your works and theyre good. Plus, the only way to learn new skills is through exchange of ideas with your colleagues. Yung mga kasama nating sila R2, Lost Boy and Jerkyjek --- Ive been following their progress and in less than 2 years, ang gaganda na nga gawa. Grabe and progress.

Hope to see you and the others this April!

Thanks buck! Bronco? Alam kong meron ang Pinas na OV-10 but which version? Siguro try ko 1/72 scale by Academy OOB. :-) How about WWII PAF planes? Ok ba yon isali? Sheesh! Dami kong ongoing projects!!! But I can't resist them all!!

Crazy #:-)

Good choice! The Academy 1/72 kit is excellent.

The PAF has OV-10As and Cs. 24 OV-10As were delivered to the PAF (I dont know exactly how many are still flying). The first 4 of a reported 10 OV-10Cs (which is very similar to the A), were delivered by Thailand very recently.

One of our members, Maj. Gaspar, is in fact an OV-10 pilot.

We have markings for that. Get in touch with El Jefe. He can help you. We'll find pics of the PAF OV-10.

Don't sweat it. Besides, it's the best way to gauge your skills. Don't be intimidated by the stuff we made. We know how you feel and we've been through that ourselves. My entry almost won (4th place) but I still got complements and that's enough to motivate me to do better next time. My advice for you is, don't build for the sake of competing. It takes away the fun. As Buck said, build models with passion because you enjoy doing it as much as an artist paints, a sculptor carving or a chef cooking up a gourmet recipe.

Buck forgot to mention that we have a sub-category where the theme is Asia-Pacific theater (WW2).

R&R was nice! It was relaxing with nothing to worry about for two days. Buti na lang di masyado traffic sa hapon at nakahabol pa ako kahit sa announcement of winners man lang.

May na? Parang bilis ng panahon. Sige try ko sumali baka may mahabol pa ako. Balitaan nyo kami sa decals! 1/72 lang muna ako pero at the risk of going against the Braille gurus

I like the Bronco since it participated in ODS although I don't have any idea what role it played there. Oh well... research... :-)
