Hi all, joined this site and plan to post my work here also (been doing it mostly on Instagram thus far).Looking forward sharing my builds and getting tips and feedback.
I mostly try to build accurate ships to specific time period, mostly 1/700 battleship era stuff. I dont have a preference for particular ship type, but in 1/700 battleships are preferred as you can see whats going on a bit more. However Im trying to build an all round collection with submarines, cruisers and big capital ships. Im also a big fan of building ships that fought against each other (Hood and Bismarck, Washington Kirishima, etc). I only do full hull.
Currently completed 1/700 Hood, Bismarck, Deutschland, Graf Spee, USS Ward, Type 7B and Type 9C submarines, a Trafalgar and Oscar class modern submarines.
In stash there is a PoW, Mikasa, Washington WIP , and Kirishima. There is also a Z37 zerstorer... To round off there is a Woban tugboat resin kit. Small stash!
I also have one and only 1/350 KGV to be built as DoY waiting in the box with Pontos upgrade set and a whole bunch of Shapeways 3D printed parts to make this bare bones kit into a super detailed one. After 1/700 stash is done I plan to work on it.
Thats my intro, and hope to contribute positively to this corner of ship modelling!

Welcome to the site and glad to have you. I prefer land vehicles, but my niece is into ships. So, I'm into ships. Hope to see some of your builds, over on model shipwrights.
