Just picked up Tamiya mag today hoping to see the Revell U-boat articl only to find out that the boat wasnt ready and will feature in 2 months now bearing in mind its a straight forward kit to do I can even do it!. now in it's place we get a full blown article on Tamiyas "new m1A1"
considering the bashing it took for not being new tool and its price for what it was think this has been done to help promote the kit as look what the T-55 article done for that kit? just very disapointed about it!

i dont know mike, you might be 'cynical'! #:-)

i havent picked up the new tammy mag, but i know what you mean, they often give undue credit to tamiyas latest release, whilst pushing others to the back burner.

buy military in scale, better all round IMHO

cheers

yeah i know what you mean,

my uncle runs a newsagents, so he gets every issue in, saves them for me, and if i dont fancy one he just puts it on the shelf, and it sells anyway.

I don't think you're being cynical. For what ever it's worth the only time I've seen a Tamiya magazine I was underwhelmed by it. I thought it had the lowest content to advertising ratio I'd seen in a modeling magazine. I would tend to look at any magazine published by a model company with a grain of salt. I wouldn't expect them to knock their own products and they may very well knock, or ignore, competitors.

Just my two cents.
