Hello! I started building models in my teen years, a long, long time ago. After another long period, I am restarting my building. In my twenties I collected many kits that have sat untouched for decades. These are what I am beginning with. Although I may work on something newer inbetween. The hobby today is great with all of the aftermarket stuff available, turned barrels, replacement tracks and decals. My skills are mediocre but at least I can watch builds here and on Youtube for tips and inspiration.

Welcome aboard, Gregg. You will find lots of help here and answers to any questions you may have. What are the kits you are building? I would guess many here will have memories of building the same ones you have.
