HI everyone,
I'm having trouble with light colored pigments. My problem is that they look ok until I hit them with a final matte coat.

I've used both turpentine and glass cleaner as a fixative, and the red shades and black shades stick just fine and hold up after a matte coat.

But the light, dust colors just disappear except for the really built up areas.

Not sure what to do.

Anyone have a fix?

since the pigments are already matt by them self and are the last step I give them 'after the matt that I do not always use, I use the pigment fixer to fix them I find work better than all the other alchemy, but the pigment fixer itself is only thinner and matt varnish very diluted I give it using a brush and using the capillary effect

I have never had the need to apply a final matte coat as they will definitely affect the pigments,I simply apply the pigments and the handle carefully,I have not damaged my pigments by handling afterwards.
