Yes I bought a 1/144 snow berry a while back just got it out and look at instruction I have little experience at building ship and I'm at a standstill don't know what to paint what not to paint even where to start the color callout some of the colors I don't have a clue. Anyone that could give me any advice on how to get started would be appreciated.Ready to give it away almost.

Harry: Paint as much as you can after assembly is completed and restrict painting as you go where it is needed. This means areas that will not be readily reachable after assembly.

I checked the paint listing in the instruction sheet,
can be seen here:
https://www.scalemodellingnow.com/hnmaritimekits-revell-hmcs-snowberry-flower-class-corvette
and the colours are given as Revells own paints.
If these are not available near you then maybe Humbrol could be an alternative.
Conversion chart in pdf-format here:
http://www.models2u.co.uk/downloads/PaintChart-RtoH.PDF
The link downloads a pdf-file.

The paint instructions lists these numbers:
09 Anthrazite (coal black) Humbrol 85 + 49 50/50 I presume
82 Dark earth, no direct equivalent, maybe Humbrol 29 could be an option
37 Brick red, H70
92 Brass, metallic, H54
362 + 371 with a mixing ratio of 60% + 40% which means 6 parts greyish green to 4 parts satin light grey, H168 + H196
371 + 301 50/50 mix of light grey and white, H168 + H130
301 + 350 4 to 6 mix of white and Lufthansa blue H130 + H198.

The conversion chart is a few years old so some of the Humbrol numbers may have disappeared or been replaced since then.

There is also the Model Shipwrights forum where the ship builders hang out so you may have better chances of getting good replies there. I think someone is actually building the same kit, or was building recently at least.

There are probably conversion charts between Revell and other brands of paint, try asking Google about it:
Revell conversion
could be a starting point.

Here is one discussion thread where Simon Heathwood is building the same kit but as the HMS Campanula instead.
