Hi all,

First time poster to a forum, but been modelling a while now. Been absent from it from about 10 years, but now getting back into it. Brit expat based in Dubai, where the modelling scene is pretty poor, so i have to make do.

But they do have internet and a postal system?
If that is the case then you should be able to survive

Join a campaign if you don't want to build all on your own.

Good advice, but not all things are able to get through customs!! However, I shall make do with my old kits and scratch building - something I am poor at so can use the opportunity to imporve!

lol poor in a metaphorical way I meant - I mean there is literlly no culture here for model making and even getting paint is a real pain
