Anybody scratch or bash stuff smaller than 1/72? I've been scratchbuilding 1/160(n-scale) and find it so challenging due to the minute size. I'm wondering if anybody else goes super small. I've seen some 1/285th, but most of that is cast metal. Is that considered "scratchbuilt"?

How about 1/144 ? I saw a cool 1/144 airplane model and was thinking of doing one myself.
Does anyone either know the difference, percentage-wise, of 1/144 vs. 1/160?
or
know the formula to figure this out?
help please....

1/144 - .083 inches = 1 scale foot.

1/160 - .075 inches = 1 scale foot

OR

1/144 - 6.94mm = 1 scale metre

1/160 - 6.25mm = 1 scale metre

That is not as much of a difference at all, is it?
I was hoping for a percentage difference, say 1 or 2 percent, but, thats as good an answer as I can ask for.

Thanks Roo
