I have used Krylon Crystal Clear Acrylic Coating on a model BMW, just to watch the roof sag down into my interior. I know its a different brand, just putting up a warning.

Just out of curiousity, do you use enamels or acrylics? I don't know if it makes a difference, but I use acylics (Model Master & Tamiya) Maybe it's reacting with the paint, causing some chemical reaction?

i sprayed it over rustoleum Painters Touch enamels. The piece looked as if was shriveling up on itself. But the kit was from FUJIMA, could just be a crappy set.
