Does anyone have experience with Abteilung 502's new "matt effect thinner"? It has a fine particulate suspension that I am sceptical of.

That's simply the matt agent in suspension, like any other matt on the market, I have it but I did only a couple of tests before packing everything for the move in the new house, however it seems to do what it is designed for, clearly as any Matt must shake well or the agent tends to settle a little 'even if less than a matt cote or similar

Thanks, I'll give it a try. The matt medium appears to settle out very quickly, so will likely require constant stirring.

it needs to be mixed often, but for what do you use it? ... because it was designed for use with oils, I gave it a nice shake then I take a little with a pipette and put it in a small glass jar and I dip the brush in it
