the benelux community went on a RMG Fieldtrip on February 22, 2004. I translated the article in English, specially for those who participated in the RMG Campaign.

RMG Fieldtrip - The Report

This sounds like a great trip. Having visited some Civil War battlefields I know the 'feeling' you get standing in place of historical importance. Looking out over the horizon trying to imagine what took place long ago.

My hats off to all who helped organize this trip for you. Thanks for sharing.

Your report brought back memories when I, my wife, and our 1-year old son visited Netherlands in 1982 driving along Hell's Highway. We stayed one night in Nijmegen and then a second night in Oosterbeck in a Bread & Breakfast on the edge of the perimeter and in view of the Hartenstein Hote.

Its good to hear you had a good time.

I'm glad that my little article could bring back some memories. It's part of the reason I started the RMG campaign all together

we had fun.... and we will the next time. Engin (Graywolf) is coming to The Netherlands in October...I hope we can show him around !
