Not really sure, just whatever the Hajis could find and fire at us. Probably a Russian size.

It is kind of hard to tell a mortar round hit from an artillery shell hit, or a tank round hit. They all do the same type of damage to a building. The size of the damage will be different based on the size of the round, but the damage is basically the same. You can use any damaged WWII building photo as a referance.

"Not sure what size it was....probabbly Russian size"
Great answer. I was chuckling about the line of questioning. When it's incoming, most folks are less concerned with "what size it is" than they are about looking to make their own size as small as possible. After it's in, most folks are less concerned about "what size it was" than they are about wether to stick around or make themselves scarce for the next volley.

They only thing I was worried about is that it woke me up. I had been out all night running convey security and got woken up by a loud boom. I was in the build next door to this one.
Luckily the only one of the four guys that sleep in this room was there, and he was outside taking a smoke break. One of the guys was home on R&R and come back to most his stuff being damaged.
