I'm looking for this model (or conversion)
1/35 U.S. Rangers Special Ops/Super Jeep
I just found the crew, but I would like to have kit, too.
Any advice is welcome!!

I've never seen that one, but its based on a Ford M-151 Mutt. Tamiya has reissued their 3 versions, and you might be able to scratch build one

Viva
If you look search in google, you can find that it's a KIRIN scale model (must be a sub-division of Dragon)... at least that's what i think... some scale model shops on the net have it... try jaguar models... Hope it helps

Kirin DID do the "super" Jeep. They come up on ebay from time to time.... And go for a pretty penny too!!!!

I picked one up for someone on another modeling site. My LHS had one in their display case for a long time. It was $30 retail. The person looking for one had been dismayed since the eBay price was $70-100 for the Kirin set. Only one I ever saw, haven't seen one since.

Forget Tamiya! Get new Academy M151A1 (three versions: standard, with recoiless gun and Israeli Shmira) or M151A2s (one hardtop version with trailer). Much better than old Tamiya kits (and their copies released by Academy earlier). All conversion sets for Tamiya M151s should also work with new Academy kits, as general dimensions of kits are the same.

This kit was released in 1997. On the only reference I found was on a old usenet advert:
Kirin Detail Sets
-----------------
KIR 28523 1/35 Super Jeep Conversion $29.98 $22.49
If they're now asking $70 -$100 for it , that's a big rip-off!!!!

there is one for sell on Ebay. Go to Toys, models, military, and conduct a search for "resin", and it should pop up - there are about 5 pages of resin items listed.
